The most convenient thing about Winnie’s coaching is that it can be done online, which allows me to find a comfortable space and time to have a conversation. I originally started the coaching sessions with a blank slate, but at around the two month mark, I gained enormous amounts of growth, continuing over the span of more than a year and a half.

In the process of starting a business, it isn’t always about having a great business strategy, but more importantly, facing your own fears and embarking on an unknown journey. Defining your goal at the beginning, to understand one’s inner self at the end, people often forget their inner selves because of external perspectives or factors. The expectations you impose on yourself do not push you forward. Only by knowing yourself on a deeper level can then allow you to be reinvigorated. Although the process is very deep and personal, the biggest enemy that you wish to run away from is always yourself. Starting with seizing the day, discovering what you want slowly, and also comparing yourself, you realize that everyone has their own timeline. It’s a great thing to find your passion, and even if you don’t, you can remove the things that you do not like, and do the things that you can handle. There isn’t a need to pursue a brilliant achievement or success, you just have to beat the person you were yesterday.

I have been in the financial and insurance industry for many years. <Virtual Action Learning LAB>

It is a great honor to have participated in the Virtual Action Learning LAB. Through the series of activities provided in this Virtual Action Learning LAB , there are many different aspects where you can learn from. Through the simple action of questions and answers, the team brainstorms a variety of different perspectives and ways of answering, which stimulates the team to learn projection, empathy, appreciation, acknowledge, reflection and brainstorming from other’s thoughts. There is no restraint to what you can gain from the exchange of experience and emotions, even if the workshop is virtual. I always look forward to the coaches carefully recording the merits of each person’s questions, the encouragement they give to everyone, as well as giving feedback to other peers to support them. This brings a lot of positive energy that I can’t experience everyday, which warms my heart, whilst also giving me the confidence and motivation to participate actively in this Virtual AL LAB.
